ADHD Evaluations
for Women and Children

Do you feel like no matter how hard you try, you just can’t stay organized or on top of things? Do you start projects with enthusiasm but struggle to finish them?

Are you constantly battling distractions, feeling overwhelmed, or frustrated that others don’t seem to understand you?

Does your child start homework with good intentions but struggle to complete it—or forget to turn it in altogether?

Have you ever wondered if your child's struggles with focus, organization, or follow-through might be something more than just a phase?

If these challenges sound familiar, you’re not alone—and there’s a reason why.

No single test can definitively determine whether you or your child has ADHD, but a comprehensive evaluation can provide the clarity and understanding you need. If you’ve been struggling with focus, organization, impulsivity, or emotional regulation—and you’re wondering if ADHD is playing a role—you’re not alone.

As a neuroaffirming professional, I believe ADHD is not just a challenge; it’s a different way of thinking and processing the world. My goal is not to “fix” you or your child, but to help you understand how your brain works and identify strategies that align with your natural strengths.

With my background as a School Psychologist and therapist, I have worked with hundreds of children, teens, and adults to provide accurate evaluations and meaningful recommendations that go beyond a diagnosis. I recognize that ADHD often comes with unique gifts—creativity, passion, resilience, and problem-solving abilities—and my approach emphasizes these strengths while addressing the challenges that may be interfering with daily life.

My comprehensive ADHD evaluation includes:

  • A thorough clinical interview regarding childhood, education, and daily functioning

  • Carefully selected standardized assessments

  • Standardized ADHD behavior checklists and input from those who know you or your child across different settings

  • An evaluation of executive functioning skills, including attention, organization, and emotional regulation

  • Observations of children and teens conducted in-office and sometimes in the school setting

  • Screening for other conditions that may coexist with or mimic ADHD, such as anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders

  • Report or Intervention recommendations for individual, family and/or school professionals

  • Appropriate referrals if medication is considered

I understand how frustrating it can be to feel misunderstood, to work twice as hard as others just to keep up, or to hear messages that you need to “just try harder.” If you’re seeking answers, support, and a path forward, I’m here to help. My goal is to provide you with a clear understanding of yourself or your child and practical steps to thrive—not just cope—with ADHD.

If you’re ready to move forward with an evaluation, I’d love to help you take the next step.
